Dogs will experience different degrees of lameness, stiffness and joint pain. Damp, cold surroundings increase pain and stiffness. Products such as peppermint oil can help relieve inflammation. Also, supplemental products containing glucosamine, chondroitin and MSM have been proven to help relieve pain. You can also use buffered aspirin which has been formulated for pets, and a remedy that includes devil’s claw, MSM and vitamin C has been known to help ease aches and pains.
